MAM Rally Sprint @ Sepang ... D day

As mentioned, Danau Motorsports were down in Sepang for the weekend to support Leona at the Rally Sprint and representing Danau were Anas,Vincent and I (Danial)

When we arrived, they were having the driver's briefing session and then the group photo session .....




Then it was final set up before the first round .....





After setting up the cars, the drivers proceeded to the flag off area and then straight to the starting of SS1 .....

Vincent stayed at the starting while Anas and I headed off to the spectator area where we met the guys from MAM, Fazli and Mia.



And then, a Kelisa fell into the drain while we all helped out ... one thing I love about rallying is that the spectators are not confined to any specific boundary and so we could all have a piece of the action one way or another =) .....




After the first round (there were 4) they all headed back to the pits to check on the cars and have a little break .....

So far, when used on the MR2 2.0l 3SGE the fuel consumption dropped from an average of 29sen/km in town to 24sen/km and this is true for 4 out of the 5 tries (the other 1 run was on the touge)

This brings a savings of RM5 for every 100km traveled.

The proportion of additive to fuel is 1ml to 5l of petrol. Each bottle is 120ml which means you could use it for 600l of fuel.

Rally Sprint weekend

Danau Motorsports will be up in Sepang this weekend for the Rally Sprint!

Leona Chin will be participating in the Rally Sprint event in a Proton Satria 1.8l ... and we are down to show some support!

This time only Anas and I came down from Ipoh as K is busy working on the preparation for our Perak Drift Showoff event but Vincent will be joining us on Sunday .....

We went over to Sepang to meet up with Leona and check out what else is going on there and .....

Then later at night we headed over to Glenmarie to check out the rally car and also to meet Leona .....
