Danau Neo R&D project continues .....

Last weekend, the Neo got a new cold air intake hose which was fitted at the left fog lamp instead of the usual "drilling a hole on the bumper" style. This is to direct outside air straight onto the air filter so that it doesn't get too much of the hot engine air which reduces performance and efficiency.




Result: No difference in performance on a cool day but the power loss on a hot day is very much less noticeable (Tested on a very hot Sunday afternoon).

Perak Drift Showoff 2009



PDS 09 went well at Stadium Indra Mulia went well thanks to everyone who was involved. We had Adian as the judge for the event with all the drifters competing D1 style doing tsuiso in both expert and novice classes.

Below some pictures of the prize giving.




We had booths, display of classic bikes and some car audio and flame shows to entertain the crowd. They were an excellent crowd with an estimated 7000 spectators who came and went.

During the break intervals we were also entertained by Team Repco who gave us a bike stunt show with two standard bikes (an EX5 and a Yamaha LC)

The Perak Drift Showoff 2009 preparation is coming to its final stages of preparation.

Press Conference

Today there was a press conference at Bangunan SUK Perakfor the 3 programs which Jabatan Belia Negeri Perak is running.

1) Mountain bike marathon
2) Cultural activities
3) Promoting motorsports

Our Perak Drift Showoff 2009 is obviously in promoting motorsports.

The press conference was for YB Zainol Fadzi (Exco Kebudayaan, Kesenian, Belia dan Sukan Perak) to talk about the 3 programs which the Ministry is organising.

Putting up the banners

We are working like mad to do this event .....

Last night Anas, K, Han, Anwar and I were working at the office till 1am and after that we headed out to put up the banners at Taman D.R, opposite the Simpang Pulai toll, Stadium, Tambun and Manjui. By the time we got home it was 3:30 am.

NKF (National Kidney Foundation)

The National Kidney Foundation will also be there to open up a booth. Danau is supporting this foundation and hopefully will be able to collaborate with them in the future for the greater good.

AADK stands for Agensi AntiDadah Kebangsaan.

AADK PERAK is also our Corporate partner for the Perak Drift Showoff event and will be setting up a booth there. Here is a little bit about them in Malay.
